khora is a netlabel offering a platform for UK based artists who work primarily with field recordings. Our aim is to seek out new phonographic and soundscape work and to contribute to the ongoing discourse around such work .

A netlabel is only one method of presenting work. We've chosen to offer mp3 files at 320kps and images of reasonably high resolution to maximise quality. We are always open to informed suggestions on alternative formats.

Some of our releases will have been recorded binaurally. To get the best out of the binaural works on offer, playback over headphones is strongly recommended.
